- Do not approach judges or competition staff
- Allow coaches to coach — Corrections are part of excellence
- Speak positively — About all teams and results
- Support resilience and accountability — Not excuses
- No videography or photography — Recording competition routines on stage is prohibited

Arrive 1.5 hours before your first dance, with:
- Full makeup applied
- Hair styled and secured
- First costume on

🌅 Early morning performances? Arrive when venue opens (usually 7:00 AM).
Performance Blocks: Dancers perform in 1–2 hour blocks.
Awards Sessions: Dancers must be present during awards at the end of their block.
While on stage for awards:
- Be quiet and listen to presenters
- NO electronic devices
- Wear your DATA jacket
You MUST be available in the area on the evening of the last competition day.
🚨 Missing one dancer = entire group forfeits finals placement.
(Exception: View Dance Challenge Saint John)
Note: "IT'S BRITNEY" will perform in the View Dance Challenge dance-off.
- Black leotard (no sleeves)
- Black shorts (no logos)
Tip: Small logos can be covered with black tape or Sharpie.
All dancers must wear matching DATA competition earrings.

On days with 3 or fewer routines per dancer — NO Rac & Rolls at the venue.
Why? Dressing rooms are too small to accommodate everyone's rac & roll.
Instead: Pack efficiently in a dance bag or small suitcase on these days.
🤝 We need parent volunteers to support competition days!
Needed during peak traffic hours to help with:
- Organization and supervision in dressing areas
- Quick changes and costume transitions
- Keeping dancers focused and on schedule
Needed to assist with:
- Lifting props to and from storage rooms
- Placing props on stage before routines
- Removing props from stage after routines
